Alexandria Balloon Flights (ABF) was started about 20 years ago by Kevin Olsen, who is also the pilot. Although ABF is located in Pittstown, NJ, we cater to the New York and Pennsylvania riders who are looking for a trustworthy company close by. Our Pennsylvania hot air balloon flights are one of a kind and sometimes even land in Eastern PA.
Over the years, hot air ballooning over PA and the surrounding areas has provided us with countless memories of our experiences and adventures to reflect on. Some of the more memorable events include flying in Northern France with the Forbes Magazine Balloon Team; co-organizing a balloon festival out of Central Park in NYC; and flying the title balloon for Canon Cameras at the world's largest international balloon fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our dedication to each rider means that each one of our Pennsylvania hot air balloon rides means just as much to us as one of these memorable events. Whether we are flying over Eastern PA in a hot air balloon flight or executing a simultaneous launch with other balloons, the care and attention to detail is the same.
Last year, Alexandria Balloon Flights celebrated flying our 15,000th delighted balloon passenger. This is partly due to our “chase crew” which we are very proud of. Our chase crew assists in inflating and launching the balloon for your PA hot air balloon rides and also follows your flight in our chase vehicle. During your flight they take beautiful digital photos, and then assist in landing and packing up. They pride themselves in their efficiency and contribute greatly to the safety and enjoyment of your PA hot air balloon flight.
